春こそ重要なアウター選びとバッグ選びについて

The important thing to know about choosing outerwear and bags for spring

Episode 2

"How to choose your outerwear and bag, which is important in spring"

We would like to deliver this to you!

I'll start by giving you the answer as to why choosing the right outerwear for spring is so important.

That's because the spring collection arrives between January and March, which is very cold.

We make real clothes. We want to offer spring items that will keep you warm during the cold season and can be worn until spring.

The feather coat is a very popular item and is synonymous with Oblada coats.

Made of cotton and nylon fabric with 100% silk filling.

A lightweight and extremely warm feather coat.

Honestly, I wear this all the time. It's perfect for winter and early spring!

I'm so pleased with the result that I even feel like "this is good enough."

(For this fall/winter season, we only made the black feather coats that were pre-ordered. We are making about 10 of the dark navy feather coats for a pop-up. One of our important policies is not to have sales and not to make too many, otherwise there would be no point in taking pre-orders.)

However, rather than resting on my laurels with my favorite feather coat, I felt that I needed to propose a new type of coat, so I would like to propose outerwear that you won't find over other people adding to your wardrobe!

First!

Workwear coveralls and jumpsuits are trending, so we've created a tent-line coverall that is typical of Oblada!

The design is that of a coverall, but the tent shape makes it a very feminine item. The duck fabric has been given a vintage-like finish to give it a real used look. The just the right amount of worn-out feel is irresistible.

This form is the best!

The collar is accented with black smooth leather. Some people may be concerned about washing it, but the collar is the part that gets the dirtiest, so I don't think it needs to be washed very often. I think it will be enough to have it dry cleaned occasionally.

The loose design means you can wear something bulky underneath, like a William knit, so I think it will be useful during the cold season!

The next spring coat is the trench coat.

We have created two new types of trench coats.

First, there is the one-piece type, called the "break coat."

This break coat is made of ultra-high density woven cotton fabric, which has windproof and water repellent properties due to its high density. It is named after the "break" in "windbreak."

It's such a wonderful fabric that I'm proud that it's made in Japan. It's woven in Saitama Prefecture, by the way. It's supplied to luxury fashion houses around the world from Saitama.

The shape is also tent-shaped, creating a fun silhouette to wear. The egg white color, which is reminiscent of something Style Council member Paul Weller would wear, gives you a spring feel.

This break coat is also very light and you can wear layers underneath, making it a useful coat that can be worn from the cold season through to early spring.

Next up is the same design but in a different material, for a more classic feel.

It's called the "London Coat"!

When you think of a British gentleman, this kind of coat comes to mind.

Although it has a classic feel, the large collar and tent-line shape give it a very feminine look.

This coat is lined and has extremely thin padding, making it warm and lightweight, making it ideal as a spring coat.

Yes! Next up, spring is all about denim jackets!

The long-awaited second type has been created.

It's called "1952 VINTAGE."

The length of the second size is a little long, so we shortened the length a little. The armholes are also made larger, so it is very comfortable to wear.

The 2nd type does not originally have a cinch buckle on the back, but by adding it, we have enriched the shape.

The blue color is made using Oblada's original selvedge fabric, which gives it a truly vintage look and makes for a very satisfying finish!

Available in two colors: blue and black.

Denim on denim style is also recommended.

The black 2nd type is surprisingly hard to find.

But actually, it's an incredibly useful outerwear piece and I highly recommend it.

And when it comes to Oblada blousons, this design is it!

The military blouson, which is finished with garment dyeing, also features an A-line shape.

What did you think of the outerwear edition?

I hope you find some outerwear that fits into your spring wardrobe plans!

I've been writing up to this point, and I was going to write about bags as well, but I'll take a break for now! I have so many thoughts about just the outerwear, and this post has gotten long.

I will write about the bags later in Chapter 2-2!

And tomorrow we will finally cover jeans and pants!

Well then! See you later!
